Funded American Express Leadership Academy Program in London, Hong Kong and Singapore has opened the application. Common Purpose has worked with American Express since 2010 to deliver its Leadership Academy programmes for not-for-profit leaders in the UK, India, Singapore and Hong Kong. They have run the American Express Leadership Academy in the UK since 2010, in Hong Kong since 2015 and in Singapore since 2017 for not-for-profit leaders from Singapore and across the wider ASEAN region. The Leadership Academy in India ran between 2011 and 2016.

Program Dates:

• London: 23 – 26 October 2018
• Hong Kong: 5 – 9 November 2018
• Singapore: 3 – 7 December 2018

Benefits

The Academy focuses on the skills required for successful leadership. Some of the themes covered during the week include, but not limited to:

• What is needed for successful leadership in the not-for-profit sector?
• Working in Collaboration
• One-to-one professional coaching
• Appreciation of organizational operations and processes
• Personal leadership brand

 Eligibilities

• Show commitment to the not-for-profit sector
• Demonstrate a leadership track record inside and/or outside their organization
• In a role that requires them to manage and/or influence multiple internal or external stakeholders (e.g. colleagues, peers, team members, partners)
• Have the potential and the ambition to enter into senior-level executive positions in the not-for-profit sector within the next five to ten years
