Young Leaders Programme 2019 (Fully Funded Trip to Brussels)

Young Leaders Programme 2019 is now available for application. It is a programme of the European Development Days (EDD). The European Commission is organizing the European Development Days (EDD). It helps to bring the development community together each year to share ideas as well as experiences in ways that inspire new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. Likewise, the EDD is a participatory programme. Moreover, for this 2019 year, EDD hold the overarching title of “Addressing inequalities: building a world which leaves no one behind”.
The European Development Days 2019 (EDD 2019) will take place on 18-19 June 2019 at Tour & Taxis in Brussels, Belgium.
This Young Leaders Programme provides you an opportunity to visit Brussels to present your voices on inequality. If inequality is an issue that impacts you deeply and which you are working to bring to light and to reduce, the opportunity is for you. Furthermore, it is a platform to share your vision of the future with other influential development actors on the field. The European Commission is inviting young people from around the world to play an active role in this year’s EDD.
Benefits from the Program
A 10-day visit to Brussels, where Young Leaders will meet EU experts and stakeholders. In addition, you can play a leading role in the EDD Programme, which will include speaking in various session alongside global leaders.
Eligibility Criteria
EDD is looking for 15 extraordinary young people aged 21-26. Above all, you should be able to represent the powerful impact that youth are having in the development field. Also, you need to be able to speak and share your views and experiences alongside other leaders and change makers.

In order to apply for participation in the programme, you need to complete and submit the application form. Applications will close on Sunday 24 March (1:00 PM CET).
