Fully Funded ACE Youth Forum 2018 in Germany

The first ever ACE Youth Forum in Germany 2018, Bonn and we’re calling youth who are the nationals to apply for the ACE Youth Forum in Germany Scholarships 2018. The scholarship covers all expenses related to AYF participation (travel, accommodation, food, etc.). The event is organized by the COP23 Fiji Presidency, the UNFCCC, and is funded by UNDP. It takes place on April 29th, 2018 in Bonn, Germany, just a day prior to the inter sessionals SB48!”. AYF 2018 is intended to provide a dedicated, informative and interactive space for youths in the lead up to the ACE Workshop, negotiations, dialogue and other Global Climate Action Agenda related events. The objective of the forum is two folded;
- Capacity-building
- to effectively engage in ACE-related negotiations
- to develop creative and effective ACE-related climate actions
- Knowledge Sharing
- to allow youths to share stories of their climate action experiences, best practices and lessons learned relating to the six elements of ACE.
Program Dates: 27th April 2018 until the April 30th, 2018.
Program Cost: The AYF Scholarships shall cover all costs of travel (including return international tickets), accommodation, visa, travel insurance fee, food, local transport and other costs for the selected applicants to participate at the ACE Youth Forum on the 29th April 2018 at Bonn, Germany.
Eligibility Criteria to participate in ACE Youth Forum in Germany 2018:
- As an AYF Scholarships applicant, you must be:
- Between 16 to 35 years old on 31st March 2018.
- A national (hold nationality aka citizenship) of a country belonging to Global South and hold a valid passport.
- And you also ensure us that, you will be available to travel to Germany for the full duration of your participation to ACE Youth Forum- that is between 27th April 2018 until the April 30th, 2018 and shall also be able to get engaged in the preparatory phase of the Forum with other YOUNGOs!
Eligible Countries:

Your application can be counted as invalid if:
- Your details are incorrect/incomplete and or the application has obvious mistakes,
responses exceed the word limits, - False statements are given.
Since the number of applications is expected to be high in number, we would request you to please be very precise in your answers. Feel free to use bullet points/write answers point-wise in the paragraph type questions.
