Transforming India Initiative Fellowship Program 2018

Deadline: 6 April 2018

Transforming India Initiative is a two-year programme focussed on experiential learning. In two years, the fellows will move from being job seekers to job creators with a cause. They will be imbibed with all the skills and mindsets required to be successful entrepreneurs during the two years.

Supported by the Niti Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission and Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), Transforming India Initiative is a unique fellowship program that will help you transform from a job seeker to an entrepreneur for a cause.

The uniquely designed curriculum for the two years emphasises Self-Transformation, Entrepreneurial Skills, Entrepreneurial Mindsets and Enterprise Excellence. The programme is designed to be experiential and practical – with 6 travel workshops, 30 social enterprises interactions, 18 practitioner taught courses and project based assessments.

The two years include a 18 month practicum where the fellows are placed in established social enterprises, working directly with CXOs and helping the enterprises accelerate their growth. Supported by experienced peer mentors, in the process, the fellows learn to establish and run their own enterprises.

Post the two-year fellowship, fellows will receive six years of integrated incubation support to ensure that their enterprises sustain and thrive!

This program acts as a platform that connects the passion and competencies of graduates to addressing the most pressing challenges faced by the country today. And it will establish triple-bottom line businesses as practical, sustainable and inevitable.
