International Youth Forum on Human Rights and Responsibility

The 2018 International Youth Forum on Human Rights and Responsibility is being organized in celebration of the 70th year of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights and in observance of the International Youth Day (IYD2018) on August 12.
IYD2018 is aimed at rekindling the passion of the youth in promoting and protecting universally recognized human rights and fundamental freedoms in their schools and communities.
Specifically, this three-day project aims to:
- Educate the youth on the essential concepts of human rights and responsibility;
- Present solutions to the current human rights violations in schools, communities and country;
- Plan actions that the youth may undertake in their schools and communities to promote and protect the rights of an individual.
These shall be realized through the following activities:
- A one-day interactive forum on human rights and responsibility;
- A two-day workshop on human rights education.
To participate, simply fill out the registration form on this page and contribute the following for the food, kit, and certificates:
- P500 for the Forum on August 10, 2018;
- P800 for the Workshop on August 11-12, 2018; or
- P1300 for the Forum and Workshop.
DEADLINES
1st wave: before May 10 (P1000 for Forum + Workshop);
2nd wave: before June 10 (P1150 for Forum + Workshop);
3rd wave: before July 10 (P1300 for Forum + Workshop);
Onsite: 1500 for Forum + Workshop
