Fully Funded Scholarship at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore is the Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship (NPGS) is a competitive and prestigious scholarship scheme designed to encourage outstanding graduates or final-year students to take their first step towards a leading research career by studying for a PhD at NTU. Scholarship can be availed for the duration of your study.  The candidate applying must hold a First Class Honours degree or equivalent.

Scholarship 

The award is tenable for one year in the first instance and is renewable subject to good progress. The maximum period of the Scholarship is 4 years for PhD candidates, as determined by the school as well as the availability of research funding in each case. The scholarship covers

  • Full tuition fees
  • Monthly stipend
  • Thesis allowance
  • One time IT allowance
  • Conference allowance
  • Annual grant for journal subscription or purchase of book
  • priority for subsidized campus accommodation will be covered by the university

Eligibility

  • The candidates are welcome from any country, but all things being equal preference will be given to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
  • The candidates must hold First Class Honours degree or equivalent.
  • The candidates must meet all the entry requirements for PhD program at Nanyang Technological University.
  • The candidates must meet English language entry requirement.
  • Scholarships only available for new students beginning study in academic year 2019 – 2020.
  • Currently enrolled students are not eligible to apply.

Application procedure
The application for Academic Year 2019-2020 (August 2019 and January 2020) will open from 01 October to 30 November 2018.
