World of Children Youth Award
World of Children Award provides annual funding and recognition to support life-changing work for children. Each year, the World of Children Youth Award recognizes a young visionary leader under the age of 21 who has made significant contributions in the lives of children. Youth Award Honorees for 2018 will be honored at an Awards Ceremony in New York City on 1 November 2018 and given grants to elevate their work.
Ultimately, the Award helps extraordinary young people expand their impact and ensure more children’s lives are touched, improved and changed forever.
Benefits
The World of Children Youth Award provides a US$25,000 grant which will be disbursed directly to the sustainable program for vulnerable children that is led by the Honoree. Funds are not available for personal use.
Eligibility
The nominee must be below the age of 21 and is one who is dedicated to serving the needs of children, regardless of political, religious or geographic boundaries. He/she must have an existing non-profit organization or NGO or charity organization in good standing and is the founder, co-founder, or visionary leader responsible for the organization’s success and growth. Nominee’s organization must be entirely focused on the needs of children.
Nominees must do this work over and above their normal employment or work for little or no pay. The nominee’s organization must have been registered as a nonprofit, not-for-profit, NGO, or charity for a at least 3 years, and the nominees themselves must have been providing exceptional support/services to children for at least 3 years. All Nominees must be available to participate in the Annual Award Ceremonies held in New York City, USA on 1 November 2018. Only individuals and not organizations are eligible for nomination. Self nominations are accepted.
Nominees would be visionary young leaders who run sustainable, high-impact programs for children. They are dedicated to serving the needs of children, regardless of political, religious or geographic boundaries. They aspire to be lifelong child advocates and intend to continue creating change for children throughout their lives.

Nominations for 2016 are to be done online by 31 March 2018.
